Flying Cards?

When you think playing cards do you think of dogs playing poker, or Las Vegas, or do you think of high speed flight? I am only a beginner at this pass time but I have my own way of doing it I  have seen and been on numerous websites and youtube videos. When throwing these cards its not about throwing it as hard as your arm can throw its more finesse than anything. My method seems to work best for me although I never see this method on any website I wind it up like a frisbee.

1) I cut the corner with my fingers (dont actually cut corner)

2) Then wind up like frisbee

3) Throw ( keep a loose wrist)

4) it should go flying if this doesnt cross you room and smash into the wall at high speeds don’t worry I would be suprised if you could do it good the first time

after three months of throwing cards if  you do i can bet you that you will be able to go through celery and cucumbers and lots of hard fruits and vegetables.

Google Chrome

Google Chrome Google’s only web browser is new, fast, and now available  for Macs. I found out about this on Mostly Sid.

Comparing and Contrasting Google

Google chrome and safari have essentially the same title bar, settings, and capability but what sets them apart is the speed, and design. The title bars are what most web browsers have alike  they have a back and forward ability, bookmark bar, home, refresh, adress bar, and tabs the only differences on the title bar between safari and Google Chrome is the possibility to change the theme (which is great). What me and Sid noticed and liked the best about Google Chrome is the speed on  my Macbook Pro I also tried this web browser on my PC running Vista to compare speed and saw nearly the same performance (the better one on my Macbook pro). Google and Apple are both looking for faster, and easier to use web browsers, Apple isn’t stressed out by this because most Apple users wont switch their web browsers (cause their too lazy) to better web browsers, while Google is trying to catch the eye of these lazy internet surfers and get them attracted to this great browser so they are worrying. because of this I say to Google “Rock on, go and make the internet a faster,and easier to use place so that even my three year old sister can browse with no problem”. and another message I would like to send out to all lazy surfers “break free from your laziness and switch from internet explorare and try Opera, Safari, and my favorite Google Chrome.

Palm Pre: The Review

The Palm Pre has finally come. The excitement is huge. I have had the privilege (or is it?) to use it. The Palm Pre isn’t really that good. Although it does have the option to run multiple apps, it’s not the iPhone killer everyone thought it would be. I don’t like many things like the plastic back, the keyboard, and the app store. The first thing I noticed about the Pre is the plastic back felt to me that the sleek touch screen was held together by a piece of crappy plastic and was going to fall apart. Another thing was the keyboard. One of the things that was so good about the Pre was the keyboard. Unfortunately, it was a great letdown. It took me twenty minutes to figure out how to use it, then it turned out to be two times harder to use. There were no real high expectations for the app store, but it has only like ten apps so that sucks. Overall, the phone was a letdown. It was supposed to be a better iPhone but it is not even close to the iPhone.

Trolls

Trolls are the last thing you what to see in a chat room. The sad news is they are thriving. What are trolls? Trolls are the plague of chat, the pain of chatters, the people who are always there to annoy. Trolls can turn a good day around into a bad day. Many of you have seen or even been one of these mean people, but do not do this as you can you can ruin someones day. I have only one solution: if you are harassed, tell your friends (or whomever you’re chatting with) to leave the chat room. The troll will leave and his mission will end. Go back and I promise he will be gone.
